MaxQ 8000 Incubated Shaker, 25–400 ±1 rpm, model MaxQ 8000, is manufactured by Thermo Scientific. Orbital incubated shakers are the perfect solution for a wide variety of applications from culturing to hybridizations. Stackable units have been designed especially for research labs and facilities that are looking for large capacity instruments, but lack the space to accommodate the large floor model shakers. This instrument is manufactured with 304 stainless steel, a crevice-free interior, and a built in drain. The MaxQ 8000 allows users to get 3x the capacity of a single unit, in nearly the same footprint as a single unit with its stacking capabilities. A robust, eccentric drive mechanism ensures high speed shaking with minimal vibrations, even when the instruments are stacked. This model provides a very stable and smooth sliding platform that can be safely pulled out to easily access samples. Microprocessor interface provides a very user friendly and intuitive operating system. Counterbalanced hinges and a magnetic gasket have been built into the fold-down door to provide a tight seal and promote user safety.
