The LND-1 is a portable viscosity cup for measuring coating products with flow times below 150 seconds. It is manufactured according to the requirements of GB/T 1723 for coating viscosity determination. The instrument measures conditional viscosity by timing the discharge of a fixed liquid volume through a standardized outlet. Results are expressed as the number of seconds required for the sample to flow completely from the cup. The cup body is made from brass and provides an approximate working volume of 100 mL. The outlet orifice is manufactured from stainless steel for durability and dimensional stability. Its compact structure supports convenient use in laboratories, production areas, and field testing. The K value is determined using secondary standard oil under a specified temperature condition. A compliant K value is stated to fall between 0.97 and 1.03 when the standard-oil flow time is between 30 and 100 seconds.
