The Leica EG1160 is a paraffin embedding station. The EG1160 embedding system is compact and easy to use, with an integrated filter to ensure constant and reproducible paraffin flow at ten different flow rate settings. All instrument functions, including automatic start times, can be programmed individually with the push of a button. The large and temperature-controlled hand rest area gives the user maximum freedom of movement.

The Leica EG1160 embedding station offers multilingual software and allows temperature programming of the paraffin reservoir, cassette bath, mold heater and work surface. The workstation also provides the operator with the flexibility to program, workday, job start time, job end time, real time and day of the week.

The Leica EG1160's independently heated paraffin dispensing system with integrated filter ensures constant, repeatable flow with ten flow settings. Wax dispensing can be activated manually via a foot switch or the wax mold handle. For easy filling of large molds, the dispensing handle can be retracted. The cooling point is integrated in the cold plate, which guarantees a uniform low temperature.
