The Leica CV5000 is a fully automatic, high-capacity cover glass slide instrument. The CV5000 has a high throughput capacity and can perform hundreds of slide operations per hour. A versatile device, this Leica model can handle standard glass slides and cover glasses.

Using the CV5000 Cover Slider, slides can be processed precisely and reproducibly on an assembly line. Cover slips are also available with a variety of resin patches to optimize volume and flow. Cover placement is accurate and bubble-free, and a special sensor detects and removes any damaged covers. In addition, the Leica CV5000 fume control system includes activated carbon filters and can be connected to a fume extraction system.

Providing convenient, precise and bubble-free coverage, the Leica CV5000 Covering Slipper and its accessories can be used as a stand-alone unit, or in combination with the Leica Autostainer XL as an integrated staining/covering station. This cover slipper can also be modified to accept the Sakura sliding stain rack.
