LC-YDS-6C Liquid Nitrogen Storage Tank, 6 L and 50-Day Holding Time (CAT#: STEM-BC-3879-ZJF)

The LC-YDS-6C is a 6 L liquid nitrogen tank for cryogenic sample storage. Its aluminum-alloy shell and inner vessel provide low weight, corrosion resistance, and strength at low temperatures. The composite neck tube minimizes conductive heat transfer while maintaining structural stability. Reflective aluminum-foil layers reduce thermal radiation within the insulated space. High-vacuum construction between the vessel walls limits heat transfer by gas convection. Selected insulation and adsorbent materials support stable long-term cryogenic performance. The 50 mm narrow neck helps reduce liquid nitrogen evaporation. Six round canisters are color-coded for fast sample recognition and retrieval. A standard safety clasp provides additional protection for the vessel opening.
