The LC-YDS-35C is a 35.5 L liquid nitrogen storage tank designed for extended cryogenic preservation. Aluminum-alloy walls provide corrosion resistance, low mass, and dependable strength at cryogenic temperatures. A composite neck with low thermal conductivity reduces heat leakage into the vessel. Aluminum-foil reflective layers form part of the multilayer thermal insulation system. The high-vacuum interspace minimizes convective heat transfer and limits nitrogen loss. Cryogenic adsorbents support long-term stability of the vacuum insulation. Its narrow 50 mm neck contributes to the listed 296-day static holding period. Six color-coded round canisters provide convenient sample classification and retrieval. A locking clasp secures the opening and improves protection of stored specimens.
