The LC-SMS-4 is a binocular stereo microscope for direct observation of solid specimens. It produces an upright three-dimensional image by presenting the sample from slightly different viewing angles to each eye. Samples can be placed directly beneath the objective without sectioning or other complex preparation. The microscope is suitable for inspection, assembly, dissection, education, and observation of small components. Wide-field WF10× eyepieces provide a broad and comfortable viewing area. The binocular head supports diopter and interpupillary adjustments for different users. Continuous objective zoom from 0.7× to 4.5× provides a standard total magnification range of 7× to 45×. Coated optical components and a pure-copper viewing tube support clear imaging and durable construction. The focusing mechanism includes overload protection to prevent damage to the rack and gear at the travel limit.
