The LC-NDJ-79+ is a mechanical rotational viscometer designed for absolute-viscosity measurement of Newtonian and non-Newtonian samples. It calculates viscosity from the viscous resistance applied to a rotor turning at a controlled speed. The analog dial provides direct readings and remains suitable for environments with electromagnetic interference. A simple rotary control enables rapid switching among the available test speeds. The micro synchronous motor maintains consistent rotation and is minimally affected by changes in load or supply voltage. Type II and Type III rotor sets with corresponding containers expand the available measurement configurations. The broader low-end range allows testing from approximately 1 mPa·s up to 1 × 10^6 mPa·s. The instrument can therefore accommodate low-viscosity solvents, general liquids, oils, and high-viscosity colloidal materials. Its compact body, stable operation, and uncomplicated maintenance support routine laboratory and production testing.
