LC-JLQ-1 Semi-Automatic Colony Counter, 3-6× Magnetic Magnifier (CAT#: STEM-BC-3906-ZJF)

The LC-JLQ-1 is a digital semi-automatic colony counter for routine bacterial analysis. It can be used with samples from food, beverages, pharmaceuticals, biological products, water, wastewater, and clinical materials. The system combines a digital counter, counting chamber, counting pens, and an integrated magnifier. Colonies are counted by pressing the pen against the underside of the culture dish. The black recessed chamber and circular LED source create even illumination without harsh glare. A gridded counting plate supports systematic observation and reduces missed colonies. The magnetic integrated magnifier provides adjustable 3× to 6× enlargement for clearer viewing. Two counting pens permit colony marking and numerical registration during the same operation. The CMOS-based counter displays totals up to 999 and helps improve laboratory productivity.
