The LC-ACC-500 is an automatic colony counter for rapid analysis of colonies on culture plates. It uses a fully enclosed dark-chamber imaging system to eliminate interference from stray light. Soft and uniform illumination reduces reflections, shadows, and dark spots in captured images. A 13-megapixel camera and high-fidelity lens record detailed features of small colonies. Artificial-intelligence counting algorithms complete colony recognition and counting rapidly. The analysis software supports image segmentation, colony marking, statistical analysis, and data storage. The system automatically removes the peripheral image of the culture dish to improve image clarity. Each detected colony can be marked automatically for easier result verification. Historical results can be exported to Excel and stored in a dedicated history folder for further analysis.
