Description

The Labsystems Fluoroskan II Fluorescent is a microbial plate reader crafted to meet the most discriminatory needs of any research and clinical laboratory. This high-performance model is an advanced 96-well microplate fluorometer designed to read fluorescence from black or opaque fluorescent plates. In some cases, transparent panels can be used.

Common tests that can be performed using the Fluoskan II unit include tests for newborn screening, thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH) measurement, T4, phenylalanine, galactose, and biotinidase deficiency. This Labsystems model also enables accurate measurements of immunological, microbiological, biochemical and enzymatic activity. The device performs fluorescence measurements at narrow angles.

Researchers can derive maximum flexibility from the Fluoroskan II. The multiple positions of the launch and excitation filter wheels and the filters located on both components allow for this advantage. Having both an excitation light source and an emission light detector above the picoplate also helps to provide a reliable output. These measurements can be taken from the built-in alphanumeric display, which can display up to 16 characters at a time.

LabSystem's Fluoroskan II can perform tasks alone, equipped with a large number of software, and can run in a window environment. This easy-to-use software efficiently facilitates data collection and analysis.

Operations included in the instrument performance include calculation selection, several blanking possibilities, measurement time selection and temperature selection.
