The IEC minoome Plus is an automated cryostat with the same proven Minot sectioning technology. Featuring easy-to-use motorized specimen advancement and retraction, the system provides ultimate speed, convenience and safety. This cryostat keeps the operator's hands completely out of the chamber, except when placing specimens on the holder or adjusting micron settings.

The Minotome Plus has recessed sides and a steeper front, designed to improve user comfort and overall productivity. It features cooling down to -30°C with precise temperature control at the knife edge. The safety sheath of the knife provides further protection for the operator. Includes -40°C snap-freeze plate, holds a large number of samples and features a convenient temperature readout. The cryostat offers automatic and manual defrosting modes.

The IEC minoome Plus includes knife guard, heat extractor and anti-roll assembly. Other accessories include disposable knife holder, heavy duty disposable knife holder, two specimen plates (concentric and cross hatch, 26 mm), lubricant, freezing spray, freezing medium, specimen dye for specimen, 3 brushes (1/8" , 1/4", 3/8"W bristles), specimen holder and protective pad.
