This basic precision balance is designed for routine weighing with 1 mg readability. It uses a strain-gauge mass sensor to convert applied load into an electronic weighing result. The instrument supports percentage weighing and configurable parts counting. External manual calibration permits routine adjustment using a suitable reference weight. Six-level vibration filtering can be adjusted to suit the stability of the installation surface. The stabilization time can also be configured to balance response speed and reading consistency. Fourteen selectable weighing units include grams, carats, and ounces. Optional RS232 communication supports computer operation and direct transfer of measurement data into compatible spreadsheets and documents. Optional battery power, rechargeable operation, an external display, and underhook weighing support alternative configurations.
