Description

The MiniHC 100 is a laboratory heating block designed for precise temperature-controlled incubation of samples in standard tubes, vials, and microplates. It provides uniform thermal contact through a precision-machined aluminum block, ensuring consistent temperature distribution across all sample positions. Temperature is controlled by an integrated microprocessor with PID regulation, maintaining the set point with high stability. The unit covers a broad temperature range suitable for enzyme reactions, DNA hybridization, protein digestion, and cell-free transcription. Interchangeable heating modules accommodate different tube formats and volumes, providing flexibility across application types. A magnetic attachment mechanism allows tool-free module exchange without disrupting thermal calibration. Programmable temperature profiles and memory storage functions support complex multi-step incubation protocols. An integrated over-temperature protection circuit prevents sample damage and instrument hazard in the event of a sensor failure. An optional shaking function is available in some models for combined incubation and mixing.
