Glutathione PhyTip columns are used for automated purification of GST-tagged antibodies and other recombinant proteins. The affinity resins used in these columns exhibit high binding affinity and affinity purification of functional recombinant GST-tagged proteins. The GST-tag (glutathione s-transferase) is a small (26 kDa) protein known to increase the solubility of expressed recombinant proteins.

Our Glutathione PhyTip columns come with a validated DFC protocol for the purification of GST-tagged proteins and can be transferred to any automated liquid handling system. Our buffer kit contains all the buffers needed for the purification protocol. Note that a slow flow rate of 0.06 mL/min is required for proper use of Glutathione PhyTip columns.
