The DSI Buxco® FinePointe RC system can directly detect pulmonary ventilation and intrapulmonary pressure in experimental animals under anesthesia, thereby deriving values such as RI and Cdyn. Intubation through the esophagus or intubation through the trachea through a cervical incision is acceptable. If intubation is through the esophagus, it is suitable for long-term longitudinal studies.

Applicable animal species: mice, rats, guinea pigs
If you need to detect large experimental animals such as dogs, monkeys, horses or pigs, you need to use a QT signal modulator to detect flow through an airflow sensor and a respiratory plethysmography chamber or sensor.
