The nXDS series pumps manufacutured by Cole-Parmer have bearing covers that prevent the vacuum environment from contacting with all forms of lubricants, making them completely dry and providing protection for the bearings against any process gases. Oil-free pump operation eliminates the downtime and cost caused by oil changes and discards. Compare to the legacy XDS series, the nXDS provides faster pumping speeds, lower ultimate pressures, less power consumption, and lower noise.
