Description

The Melting Point Apparatus operates on the principle of phase transition from solid to liquid. During measurement, the sample is placed in a chamber in its solid state and gradually heated. The temperature is continuously monitored and recorded, and the point at which the substance begins to melt—indicated by a notable drop in the temperature curve due to heat absorption—is determined as the melting point. This method ensures precise and consistent identification of a substance's thermal characteristics.
