Description

The KJ334-5 cryogenic storage tube is a disposable laboratory consumable designed for the long-term preservation of biological samples at ultra-low temperatures. It is manufactured from virgin polypropylene (PP) meeting USP Class VI standards, processed in a cleanroom environment to ensure high purity and reproducibility. The tube features a two-color injection-molded body and cap with integrated 2D barcodes on the tube base, cap, and storage box for full traceability. It is suitable for storage in liquid nitrogen vapor phase, dry ice, and standard -80°C freezers, covering cryogenic to autoclave temperature ranges. The cap design-available in internal-thread or external-thread configurations-provides a secure, leak-proof seal to protect sample integrity during storage and transport. A large writing area on the tube surface facilitates manual labeling for secondary identification. The tube is intended for use with standard 100-position cryogenic storage boxes, which are also available in SBS format for automated systems. It is used extensively in university laboratories, hospital biobanks, and research and clinical testing centers for organized digital sample management. The product is manufactured as a single-use item from virgin raw materials without any recycled content, eliminating contamination risks.
