Copure® Alumina SPE Cartridges provided by STE-Mart contain an extremely polar sorbent Alumina. Alumina shows strong polar retention and Lewis acidity due to abundance of surface electrons which engenders π-π interaction with aromatic rings. Alumina is more stable than un-bonded silica in high pH conditions, suitable for extraction of aromatic amines.
