Beckman L7-65 Ultracentrifuge, 65000 rpm, model L7-65, is manufactured by Beckman Coulter. The Beckman L7-65 is a highly efficient ultracentrifuge. Ideal for laboratories with a need for high-speed and high maximum centrifugal forces, this Beckman centrifuge can be employed for a broad range of applications.
As a truly versatile system, the Beckman L7-65 centrifuge is useful for separation of sub-cellular fractions and viruses, which require slower speed gradients. The L7-65 ultracentrifuge can perform these separations much faster than other centrifuges available in the market.
Additionally, the Beckman L7-65 Ultracentrifuge system is also widely used for isopycnic separations of plasmid DNA, rate-zonal separations or receptors and lipoprotein density gradient work. All other materials, except some membranous subcellular fractions that are sensitive to hydrostatic pressure, can also be separated faster using the L7-65.
