The FREESTYLE GPC is an automated gel-permeation chromatography cleanup system for automated gel-permeation cleanup of residue and environmental samples. The system uses gel-permeation chromatography to remove large-molecular-mass matrix components and smaller interfering compounds. Standard and rapid GPC columns can be packed by the user. The GPC column includes an internal filter and a protective metal housing. A threaded column-head design permits adjustment of packed-bed length and replacement of packing material. Full-fill, partial-fill, and defined-volume injection modes are listed. A dual-plunger liquid-chromatography pump provides solvent delivery. The platform can be expanded with SPE, quantitative concentration, and online LC-MS modules.
