APEX® Tamper Evident Microcentrifuge Tubes manufactured by Alpha Laboratories are ideal for sample collection, processing and storage. These versatile and durable tubes are manufactured from high clarity, medical grade polypropylene and are solidly constructed for high-speed centrifugation up to 20,000g for conical bottom tubes and 17,000g for skirted tubes.
APEX® Tamper Evident Microcentrifuge Tubes and compatible caps are manufactured from the same materials. This means both the caps and tubes will expand and contract at the same rate in response to temperature changes (e.g.. during freezing or thawing), thus minimising the possibility of leakage. In addition, they are tested to be 95kPa compliant, making them suitable for specimen transport to UN3373 regulations.
