The Anti-Human CD16 mAb manufactured by Seafrom is suitable for enhancing the cytotoxicity of NK cells and monocytes in cell therapy.
Cell CD16, also known as FcγRⅢ, is a glycoprotein with a molecular weight ranging from 50,000 to 70,000. It belongs to the Ig superfamily and is known to participate in antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity (ADCC). Its most notable feature is that the membrane receptor triggers lysis, which is carried out by NK cells. CD16, as a low-affinity receptor for the Fc portion of certain IgG antibodies, associates with the Fcε receptor I (FcεRI) γ chain of CD3ζ, collectively participating in signal transduction. Crosslinking of CD16 on NK cells directly leads to an increase in intracellular Ca2+ levels and a series of cascade biochemical reactions similar to T cell receptor activation.
According to relevant literature, CD16 serves as a lytic receptor on human NK cells, mediating the direct killing of certain virus-infected and tumor cells, a process that relies on the tight binding of antibodies. CD16 molecules are widely expressed in NK cells, neutrophils, mononuclear cells, and macrophages. Monoclonal antibodies to CD16 can activate NK cells to exert antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity.
Soluble method: It is recommended to use a concentration of 500ng/mL.
Storage: Store at 2~8°C with a shelf life of 24 months. If needed for aliquoting, aliquots can be stored at -20°C for 6 months or at -80°C for 12 months, avoiding repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
