Analysis of Leukocyte by Flow Cytometry (CAT#: STEM-CBT-0074-WXH)

Introduction

1. rapid and accurate determination of leukocyte antigens and quantitative analysis of leukocyte subsets
2.tests of leukocyte function, determination of the presence of antineutrophil and antilymphocyte antibodies in plasma and on cells,
3.measurement of CD34+ hematopoietic stem cells in peripheral blood and bone marrow samples, and
4.detection of virusinfected leukocytes.
5. Immunologic monitoring of HIV-infected patients
The absolute CD4 count provides a powerful laboratory measurement for predicting, staging, and monitoring disease progression and response to treatment in HIV-infected individuals.
6. The immunophenotyping of leukemias and lymphomas
7. Identifying clonality in B-cell populations.
8. Diagnosis of Neutropenia
9. Functional deficiencies of leukocytes can be assessed

Principle

One or more fluorescently labeled antibodies are added to a single cell suspension, and the antibodies bind to the antigen on the cells via an antigen-antibody reaction.

Procedure

1.Sample preparation
2.Staining
3.Detection by flow cytometry
