Application: Contegra should be used to correct or reconstruct the right ventricular outflow tract (RVOT) in patients younger than 18 years old with any of the following congenital heart malformations:
Pulmonary stenosis, tetralogy of Fallot, arterial amputation, ventricular septal defect (VSD) transposition, and pulmonary atresia
Contegra is also recommended as a replacement for previously implanted but dysfunctional lung allografts or valved catheters.

Description

Contegra is a glutaraldehyde cross-linked heterogeneous bovine jugular vein with a competent trilobe vein valve. The device is available in 6 sizes and the inner diameter measured at the inflow end increases uniformly between 12 and 22 mm.
