The RapidPick MP: 20 Pin Colony Picker is manufactured by Hudson Robotics, Inc. It is the fastest and most accurate automated colony acquisition system in the world. The average inoculation rate of MP is over 99%. The small footprint of this microbial colony collector saves laboratory space and easily fits into anaerobic chambers and biosafety hoods. A typical colony picking rate is about 2,400 colonies per hour. The open physical layout facilitates integration and cleaning with other instruments.
