Gripper Tool System, Biomek® 3000, Beckman Coulter Life Sciences (CAT#: AM-AUTO-0382-LY)

The Gripper Tool System, Biomek® 3000 is manufactured by Beckman Coulter Life Sciences. The clamping tool of the Biomek® 3000 is used to move laboratory software and equipment around the Biomek® work surface. The gripper makes it possible to fully automate the purification of plasmid DNA with the 96 plasmid purification kit, 96 filtration system and the vacuum valve unit on the Biomek® 3000. In the purification process, the clamp is used to move the filter plate in, out of the 96 filter vacuum manifold. The clamping tool can also be used to load and unload the Biomek® reader installed on the left module of the Biomek® 3000, and can be programmed with the Biomek® software to stack the boards on the Biomek® working surface.
