Agilent G1888 Network Headspace Sampler

We offer a fully refurbished specification Angelon Model G1888 Network Headspace Autosampler, currently in stock. These are recertified specs and ship with a full warranty. Installation is available upon request.

Headspace sampling allows you to automatically introduce volatile compounds from virtually any sample matrix, directly into the GC or GC/MS. The Angelon G1888 Network Headspace Sampler features an inert sample to reduce analyte degradation or loss. Its high sample capacity and increased sensitivity provide good performance in a wide range of analyses.

Specification

Condition: certified pre-owned
Sample Capacity: Holds 70 vials in tray. Twelve position oven for optimized sample overlapping constant time heating
Mode of Operation: Shaking with choice of off, low, or high. Constant heating time (CHT) mode for each sample. Overlapping up to 12 vials for maximized sample throughput Multiple headspace extraction (MHE) mode with up to 100 extractions per vial for method development and validation or for analysis of sample in unusual matrices Multiple headspace extraction concentration (MHC) mode, with up to 10 extractions from 1 vial made followed by one GC start after the last extraction to increase sensitivity

Interfacing with GC: Volatile inlet (VI) or other standard GC inlet
Sample Vials: Standard crimp top or screw cap vials, 20 mL, 10 mL. No adaptor required for 10-mL sample vials.

Features

70 sample trays and 12 positions in the heated oven allow for unattended night operation.
Automatic overlap for maximum sample throughput in minimum time.
Coupling with an inert 7890A or 6890N Volatile Interface achieves system inertness.
The controlled temperature range enables the analysis of semi-volatiles at temperatures in excess of 200 degrees Celsius, as well as the application of traditional low-boiling analytes.
The heated zone can be turned off, which allows analysis of biological or extremely heat-sensitive analytes under ambient conditions.
Multiple puncture extractions, up to 100 extractions per bottle.
The "concentrated mode" of the MHE allows multiple extractions from a vial and then starts a GC run after the last extraction.
Several handy testing and troubleshooting features are included, including a set of four pre-stored chemical test methods, semi-automated leak testing, and a detailed POST.
Instrument controls integrate drop-down menus for easy method setup. An existing sequence table was used to set up the assay, maintaining optimized sample overlap and constant heating times.
The event log feature tracks every operation of the headspace sampler and reports any temperature and pressure deviations from the set point in compliance with 21 CFR Part 11.
Built-in keyboard controls make it compatible with all gcs.
