ADC 5411 Diagnostix^™ Portable Otoscopes manufactured by ADC feature fiber optic light transmission for an unobstructed view and optimal beaming. The Otoscope features bi-directional swiveling and optical glass with 3-fold magnification, making it ideal for hospitals, clinics, and physicians. Each Portable Otoscope has an integrated metal fitting for quick release and ease of use. The 5411 also features an integrated specula ejection device.
The top half of the ADC 5411 Handle screws off to reveal a wall plug which recharges the handle in a standard electrical socket. The rechargeable battery eliminates the cost on replacement of expensive batteries. Considering energy saving, The 3.5 v Li-ion Battery Otoscope Handle automatically shuts off after 2 minutes. A rheostatic light intensity control provides infinite, continuously variable control. The Otoscope handle features an insufflator port for pneumatic otoscopy.
The Otoscope is available in halogen/xenon or LED illumination options. Halogen/Xenon combines inert gas technologies to offer a bright white light and cooler color temperatures. The LED offers a color temperature of 4200k compared to 3200k of the halogen. The LED bulb life is also 100,000 hours compared to only 20-30 hours for halogen.
The 5411 Diagnostix^™ Set includes a soft carry case, 5 each 2.75 mm and 4.25 mm disposable specula, rechargeable battery handle, and removable otoscope head.
