Cryovial manufactured by Crystalgen, Inc is designed for storage of biological material, human or animal cells, at temperatures as low as -196°C (only in the gas phase of liquid nitrogen). There is a silicone washer between cap and vial to provide a positive leakproof seal at all temperatures, even the lowest of cryogenic temperatures. A 1 1/4 turn of the cap is sufficient to seal the vial. Vials are sterilized by gamma radiation and are packaged in unique tamperproof, re-sealable, safety-lock bags of 100.
