15ml SuperClear™ Centrifuge Tubes manufactured by Alpha Laboratories are made of high quality, medical grade polypropylene and are printed using a high speed rotary process that employs reagent/chemical resistant inks. SuperClear™ Centrifuge Tube comes with large white, solvent resistant labelling areas and black, easy to read graduations in 0.5ml increments that are accurate to ± 5%. The tube also features easy-to-label flat cap incorporating an integral elastomeric sealing ring to enable the user to seal the tube to an evaporation seal with a ¾ turn. A further ¼ turn will make the seal liquid tight. This easy-grip cap design is simple to use, even when wearing gloves. The tubes have been designed for more demanding laboratory applications than standard centrifuge tubes. Both the caps and the centrifuge tubes are autoclavable (caps should not be autoclaved separately from tubes) and can be used within a temperature range of -90 to 122°C.
