DIL 820 Series Vertical Dilatometer, TA Instruments (CAT#: STEM-LE-1408-LC)

The 820 series runs in the vertical direction, making it unique for sintering analysis, rate control sintering (RCS) mode studies, and determination of expansion parameters of samples, otherwise it is difficult to analyze on a classic dilatometer with a horizontal design. There are two models (DIL 821 and DIL 822), both units have a new optical encoder with a resolution of 1 nm. When combined with DIL822's True Differential, the result is the best sensitivity and CTE accuracy possible on the market.
