Analysis of Glutamic Acid (Glu) by Enzyme-labeled Instrument (CAT#: STEM-MB-1488-LGZ)

Introduction

Sensitivity: 0.006 mmol/L
Detection range: 0.006–0.8 mmol/L
Precision: inter-lot difference of 4.4%, intra-lot difference of 0.8%
Detection equipment: Enzyme-labeled Instrument
Detection wavelength: 440-460 nm

Principle

Glutamic acid (Glu) can reduce NAD+ to NADH under the catalysis of enzyme, and NADH can reduce WST-8 to orange substance under the action of hydrogen-transmitting substance, which has the maximum absorption peak at 450 nm. The content of Glu in the sample can be calculated by measuring the absorption value at 450 nm.

Applications

It is suitable for the determination of glutamic acid (Glu) in serum, plasma, urine, animal and plant tissue and cell samples.

Procedure

1. Prepare standard samples and experimental samples.
2. Add reaction reagents in order for reaction.
3. Measure the absorbance of each tube.
4. Make the mark curve and calculate the result.

Materials

• Sample Type: serum, plasma, urine, animal and plant tissue and cell samples
