Description

The 7000A Triple Quadrupole GC/MS Instrument is manufactured by Agilent Technologies and is used for increased selectivity and sensitivity when performing "target compound analysis" on complex samples in SIM mode. MS/MS reduces sample preparation, shortens the analysis cycle, eliminates erroneous results, and improves work efficiency. The entire system is supported by MassHunter software, which is designed to make MS analysis easier to get the final report.

Features

• A high-pressure linear collision cell with ""helium quenching"" is used to reduce the neutral noise that can transfer helium atoms
• Safe operation of hydrogen carrier
• In MS/MS mode, with a signal-to-noise ratio of 100:1, the sensitivity of 100 OFN droplets is exceeded (verified at the customer site)
• MRM speed is 500 conversions per second, the minimum residence time is 1 millisecond, zero crosstalk
• Proprietary hyperbolic quadrupole improves performance to 1050 u the unique stability of the quartz monomer allows the analyzer to be heated to 200°C to eliminate the common contamination of metal quadrupoles operating at lower temperatures
• Agilent 7890A gas chromatograph provides efficient chromatographic analysis
• Integrated capillary flow technology reduces source maintenance, shortens analysis cycles, and extends column life
• The mass spectrometer is only 14 inches (35 cm) wide
• Three-axis HED-EM detector provides lower neutral noise
• Inert ion source, now programmable to 350°C-provides enhanced response to active compounds and late eluents
• Electronic shock (EI) and chemical ionization (PCI and NCI) sources are available
• Productivity features such as Agilent Autotune, Batch-at-a-Glance data review, and parameterless integrator
• Differential vacuum system with a single mechanical roughing pump
